Fundraising allows the school to keep tuition reasonable, while providing constant enrichment of the prepared environment. The Children's Montessori School of Lompoc is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, Tax ID #77-0185213.
Electronic fundraising has the potential to provide the school with a considerable amount of supplementary income. All families are required to participate in at least one of the following electronic fundraisers, and may invite their families and friends to participate as well.
Recycling printer ink cartridges at Staples gives the school reward credits each month. Simply take empty printer cartridges to any Staples, give them the school's phone number (805-733-2290) or ID# 2980626671 and Rewards will be sent to the school. Organizing this at your place of work, involving neighbors, relatives and friends can add to the school's Rewards and is good at all Staples in the US.
Have a car you are not using? Donate it to Children's Montessori School at www.cardonatingiseasy.org. CARS is a national vehicle donation program that will sell your donated vehicle (located anywhere in the US) and send the school 80% of the new proceeds. All you need to do is go to www.cardonatingiseasy.org, fill out the information, they will pick up you car, and after they sell it, a check for 80% of the net sale comes to the school!
The 35th annual school Jog-A-Thon will be run on October 2nd, 2022 at Ryon Park in Lompoc. Students will jog (or walk) around a quarter mile track as many times as they can during a one hour period.
Support your jogger with a one time donation or by pledging per lap! Those making a per lap pledge will be notified after the event how many laps were completed by your sponsored student (e.g. $5.00 pledge per lap x 10 laps = $50.00).

One Time Donation
Fall Festival is a family fair celebrating the changing seasons, which features pumpkin decorating, tri tip BBQ, caramel apples, a petting zoo, games and prizes for the children, vendor booths from local merchants, face painting, a photo booth and music. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
Gift Basket Auction
The Harvest Gift Basket Raffle offers a fun selection of prizes like dinners for two, plays, original art and jewelry, beauty care items, culinary treats and exquisite wines, just to mention a few.
Winners are drawn at the end of the Fall Festival, and need not be present to win. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5.
Each year proceeds go for major school improvements like playground equipment, classroom chairs and tables, Montessori apparatus, maintaining and expanding our garden, as well as major classroom and building improvements.
